This utility will help customers using Kodak EasyShare 2.x software who are experiencing any of the following problems:

• Error messages appear when you attempt to remove Kodak EasyShare 2.0 or 2.1 software from your hard drive
• You cannot find Kodak EasyShare software listed among the items in the Add/Remove programs
• You have previously installed Kodak EasyShare software 2.x and are seeing error messages when trying to install Kodak EasyShare 2.x

This utility will clear out all installed components of EasyShare 2.1 and 2.0. When the installation is complete and you restart your computer, this utility will allow you to reinstall the Kodak EasyShare software. This utility will remove only EasySahre files, registry entries, and installed software components. This utility will not delete your My Collection picture database. Please note, you should always try to remove EasyShare via the Add/Remove program wizard in the Control Panel of your Windows OS before using this utility .

This utility can be run on any OS that is supported by EasyShare software. These include Windows XP, 2000, Me, 98SE, and 98. There is a slight difference in the way this utility runs on Windows XP and 2000 as compared to Windows Me, 98SE and 98. See the instructions included in the download for furher details.

1. Click on the download button below and save the file to your desktop.
2. Locate the Downloaded file ES2Clear.exe and double-click it.
3. This will open a Self Extractor window. A dialog will ask you to place the files in a new folder named KodakESS.
4. Click on the Unzip button.
5. Click on OK.
6. Click on Close.
7. You can now find the files in C:\KodakESS. Inside the folder are 2 files. These include the instructions for the utility (EasyShare 2 Clear utility) and the utility itself (ES2CLEAR.bat).
8. Follow the instructions when you are ready to run the Clear Utility.
